Demonstrators: Audrey Balderstone and Geoffrey Fox
​Their Title:  "Gunpowder, Treason and Plot"

Our demonstration on 2nd November was by Audrey Balderstone and Geoff Fox from Watford Flower Club.  Their title was “Gunpowder, Treason and Plot” and their demonstration was a light-hearted and entertaining evening - accompanied from time to time by fireworks from the village!

During the evening we saw King James I, the Houses of Parliament and the dungeons below interpreted by them in a variety of flowers. Next came a bonfire with even a guy on top!  Finally there was a wonderful depiction of fireworks.

The evening was enjoyed by about 80 members and visitors.  Audrey and Geoff said what a friendly and welcoming Club we are so why not come to one of our meetings?  We meet on the first Thursday of every month, except August, starting at 7.30pm in Clophill Village Hall.

​Our Christmas Open Evening will be held on Thursday 7th December  when Lorena Dyer will be getting us into the seasonal spirit with her demonstration entitled: "A Christmas Wish".  There are few tickets left so if you are planning to come, please contact us via this site and buy your tickets before the event.  It is very unlikely there will be tickets available on the door.

Our Annual General Meeting will be held on 4th January 2018 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.  Everyone is welcome to attend and hear about all we have done in 2017 and our plans for 2018.
