Report on our AGM held on Thursday 7th January 2016

 
The Club has had a very good year in 2015 with increased membership and some excellent demonstrations and practical evenings.  Our Annual General Meeting was held on 7th January when we reviewed 2015 and the Committee were re-elected.  We have a lot of talent in the Club and have arranged flowers at many big events.

2016 will be our 40th Anniversary and we are planning some special events to celebrate.  We always welcome new members and everyone enjoys our meetings as they are lively and friendly.  We were pleased to announce that we now have our own website where people will find our programme for 2016, details of our meetings and other activities.

Our next meeting will be on Thursday February 4th with a demonstration by Glenis Smith – ‘As time Goes By’.  Membership fees are due at this meeting. They are £30 for the year including 10 meetings and affiliation to the Area
​that organises many Area events open to all members.

We will be staging a special Flower Festival at St Mary’s Church on 17th and 18th September to celebrate our Anniversary and 90 years of HM the Queen
